Another up-cycled painting. This time the image is of contrasts rather than blurred edges. Part of my walk along the river to the south of Effelter in Germany. The water at one point was full of tiny bubbles which stuck to the side of a rock. But next to them the water ran free and clear. I imagined this as a metaphor for how people can become stuck in life’s “station” whilst others seem to float freely from one situation to another. I find it amazing that these people can often exist closely and yet not realise or appreciate the effect they have on each other.
