Light on the hill: Acrylic on paper

After moving to Dorset, I remember being struck by the image of a hill with some trees on top. In those first few years, the local landscape often did this to me!  Driving down to farms tucked away in the folds, that seemed time-locked within a story by7 Hardy or a traditional song, made me feel very at home. But where was that hill?  Of course it is Colmers Hill which I now realise is often drawn by artists. Mine are not realistic views, but rather images that have been inspired by walking the hollow-ways around the hill and seeing it in various weathers. I must go there at night!
