In this waterline drawing, I have explored the idea of fractals. You can see waterlines like this from an airplane .

You can see them as you walk along the river, following the  twists and vaguaries of the waterflow.

And if you look closer, you can see the same twists at the edge of the flow.

And then, under a microscope, you can see the same twisted edges of the ink as it flows into the paper.

I suspect that this may be where the true fractals kick in.
But I’m not a scientist.
